FAQs
How do i book a class ?
Please book your class online. We use Vagaro Booking, so you can book on our website or at the Flex pole studio storefront on the Vagaro app or website. To book you will need to sign up for a Vagaro account. You can also sign up in advance at the studio.
What should I wear / Bring to class ?
You should always be comfortable in what you wear to class. We recommend shorts and a t-shirt or tank top for your first class. The more skin, the better you stick to the pole. We recommend bringing socks to help you slide and pivot on the floor. And of course, bring water to stay hydrated!
Do I have to share a pole?
All of our multi week, single day courses and open pole sessions are one student per pole. You may share a pole during a workshop or a pole party.
Are men Allowed?
Yes! Everyone is welcome, Flex pole studio is a place for everyone to explore their own personal journey and build community. Regardless of age, gender, size or ability our studio seeks to foster a supportive atmosphere of inclusiveness.
Can I record video in class?
Yes. Recording your own personal practice can be beneficial. Please confer with your teacher before you video any class instruction. Please be sensitive to other students who may not wish to be in recordings or photos during class time.
Is parking available?
Yes! There is a lot of parking directly in front of our door. Check out our location page for a map to our location at the Niagara Frontier Food Terminal and directions to the parking area.
What are the benefits of Pole Dancing?
Pole dancing builds muscle, tones your core, burns calories, increases flexibility, releases endorphins, improves your coordination, increases self- esteem and honestly, it’s just really fun!
Are there age requirements?
While we do support pole fitness for all ages and are aware it is an excellent sport practiced by everyone, at this time we are only accepting students ages 18 and up.

I’m not strong or flexible can i still do pole ?
Yes! Pole dance is an individual experience and you start at your own level. Pole dance is for everyone regardless of size, athletic ability, or strength. You do not need to have any dance experience to start. Our classes will help you to build strength, fluidity, embrace body awareness and foster a sense of personal accomplishment.
I’ve never done pole, what class is right for me?
We recommend starting with our six week Pole 1 class, this class will give you the fundamentals to get you started on your pole journey. If you are not quite ready to commit, try out our once a month Pole Baby Intro class, this class can only be taken once.
I see “rain day” on my course schedule, what does that mean?
In the event of class cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, each six-week course includes a designated "rain day" to make up for any missed session. This "rain day" will only be utilized if the studio cancels a class; if all six sessions proceed as scheduled, the "rain day" will remain unused. Students will be promptly notified of any cancellations via text or phone.
If I miss a class, Can I make it up ?
A single class from a 6 week course can be made up during one of our Open Pole sessions. Our Open Pole sessions are not an instructed class, however an instructor will be on hand to assist, spot and answer any questions. Make up classes need to be fulfilled within your current 6 week session. Please inform your instructor of the date and time you plan to make up the misses class.
